About
From supercomputers
to viral AI products.
For 20+ years, I’ve expanded the scope of what I can build and lead. My work spans software and hardware for Exascale HPC and AI, teams, companies, and products used by 1M+ people.
How I got here
I move toward hard problems and stay until the technology becomes useful.
- Built systems
Software and hardware for petascale, TOP500, Exascale HPC, and AI.
- Led teams
Researchers, engineers, and cross-functional squads, while partnering with executives to deliver hard outcomes.
- Founded companies
Food Recalls, Spark, and Giga Maps, taking ideas from zero to viral products, revenue, and new categories.
How I operate
Founder mode.
Every stage.
- 01Set direction
Customer insight, product vision, strategy, and capital
- 02Build teams
Hire, coach, and align engineering and cross-functional squads
- 03Ship products
Drive architecture, roadmaps, and 0 to 1 execution
- 04Create distribution
Build GTM and growth loops that turn adoption into virality and revenue
Career Milestones
Each chapter expanded the scope of what I could lead.
2007–2012
Purdue University
Built petascale HPC software, led a five-researcher team to 100× performance, and scaled simulation workloads to 100 TFLOPS across 100K+ nodes.
2013–2018
Intel
Led six engineers co-designing Exascale HPC systems and worked across hardware, software, workloads, data centers, and government partners to shape TOP500 supercomputers.
2018–2019
Intel Capital
Worked with portfolio C-suites, created $10M+ in partnership value, and delivered M&A diligence that influenced a $100M+ strategic decision.
2019–2022
SmartAddress
Built Food Recalls from zero to viral: 250K+ users, Top 10 in the US Food & Drink chart, $150K+ ARR, and acquisition talks with the FDA.
2022
Classkick
Led 15+ engineers, set technical direction, delivered $1M+ in savings, and doubled engineering velocity through lean systems and a stronger writing culture.
2023–Present
Curiosity Labs
Built Spark’s multimodal AI stack, hired and led five engineers, raised $100K+, reached the first 1K customers, and powered 2M+ AI experiences.
Now
Giga Maps
Pivoting SmartAddress into Giga Maps and building AI Addresses as foundational infrastructure for discovery, identity, and commerce in the agentic economy.
What drives me
I’m at my best when the problem is hard, the path is unclear, and the product still has to earn its place in people’s lives.
