About

From supercomputers
to viral AI products.

For 20+ years, I’ve expanded what I can build and lead—from software and hardware for Exascale HPC and AI to teams, companies, and products used by 1M+ people.

How I got here

I move toward hard problems and turn emerging technology into products people love.

  1. Built systems

Software and hardware for petascale, TOP500, Exascale HPC, and AI.

  2. Led teams

Researchers, engineers, and cross-functional squads aligned with executives around ambitious outcomes.

  3. Founded companies

Food Recalls, Spark, and Giga Maps, taking ideas from zero to viral products, revenue, and new categories.

Career Milestones

Each chapter expanded what I could build—and lead.

2007–2012

Researcher

Purdue University

Built petascale HPC software for NSF-supported research, led a five-researcher team to 100× performance, and scaled simulation workloads to 100 TFLOPS across 100K+ physical nodes on TACC Ranger, NCSA Blue Waters, and Purdue Rossmann. Research advisors: Gregory A. Blaisdell and Anastasios Lyrintzis .

2013–2018

Software Engineer

Intel

Led six engineers on advanced-computing R&D across DOE FastForward, DesignForward, CORAL, and DOD PUMA. Separately, shaped near-term products including Stampede2 (Xeon Phi KNL) and Aurora (Ponte Vecchio GPUs). PI: Josh Fryman

2018–2019

Corporate Venture Capital

Intel Capital

Led portfolio business development that created $10M+ in qualified pipeline for Intel data-center products and mapped Intel Capital companies to Microsoft-related M&A targets for VP-level stakeholders evaluating a $100M+ strategic decision. Manager: Ran Kurup

2019–2022

Founder & CPTO

SmartAddress

Built Food Recalls from zero to viral: 1M+ users reached with zero paid marketing, Top 10 in the US Food & Drink chart, $150K+ ARR in year one, and ongoing FDA acquisition discussions tied to modernization strategy.

2022

Engineering Director

Classkick

Led 15+ engineers, delivered $1M+ in realized annualized GCP savings, and doubled deployment frequency and lead-time performance through DORA, lean systems, and a one-page specification culture. Reported to VP, Engineering: Dean Singh · CEO: Andrew Rowland

2023–Present

Co-founder & CTO

Curiosity Labs

Built Spark ’s multimodal AI stack, hired and led five engineers, raised $125K, reached the first 1K customers, and powered 2M+ voice experiences for kids. Co-founder: Shiva Jaini (YouTube Kids co-creator)
